May Day Bouquet Burton Dassett, CV47
Celebrate the Spring in full swing! Take advantage of an extra day at the weekend and join this workshop to wake up to a bountiful bouquet on May Day morning.
See what’s growing in the greenery garden and hedgerows before selecting some of your own Tulips from the beds. While they have a drink we’ll enjoy some refreshments too, before a demonstration of techniques to hand-tie a bouquet. Practice spiralling stems with foliage, and then combine these with your Tulips and other seasonal ingredients, before wrapping in paper for a professional finish.
BYOBucket to transport your creations home.
It’s hard to predict the weather, but please dress appropriately for being outside, inc footwear suitable for the garden.
No experience required, all tools, materials and refreshments provided.
£60pp, or bring a friend and each enjoy a £5 discount (where booked at the same time).

Learn to work with pliable UK grown willow to weave a textured wreath base, which can be refreshed for future use after the festive period. Embellish a section with seasonal foliage and ribbon to create a natural and biodegradable decoration for your front door. All tools and materials provided. Create your own Festive Willow Wreath
Learn how to weave willow rods into a hoop, before adding winter foliage into a mossed base.
Embellish with seasonal treasures such as pine cones, berries, fruits, cinnamon and herbs before topping (or tailing!) with a ribbon of your choice, ready to hang outside your front door.

Let’s Play is a charity specialising in fun after-school clubs, holiday activities and youth clubs for young people aged 5 to 25 with additional needs in the Banbury area. They also offer a regular stay and play sessions for under 5s and their families.
Last year, greenery worked with the team to offer fundraising DIY wreath-making kits, but this year we’re going live!
All tools and materials will be provided to make your own luxury 40cm wreath in the event space at Lock29’s canalside venue, with yummy mince pies on offer too.
SPRING WORKSHOP

Celebrate the season and its abundance with a floral table centre. Using Spring flowers and foliage on a reusable base, learn sustainable floristry techniques to create a pretty adornment for your door or table centre this Bank Holiday weekend. All tools and materials provided. Participants may wish to bring their own favourite tools, or optional aprons/ gloves.
Finished designs will measure approx. 30cm and you will need your own plate to display at home.
AUTUMN WORKSHOP - held at The Mill Arts Centre, Banbury
Seasonal hand-tied bouquet - SOLD OUT
With a bucket of British-grown flowers, and an introduction to key floristry skills, create a dramatic natural display to go in your favourite vase*.
Varieties likely to include Dahlias, Sedum, Cosmos and grasses.
* suggested dimensions 20cm tall, opening 10cm. Vases available from the tutor on the day
